Who is this course Aimed at?
The main aim of the Nationally Recognised Accredited Scaffold Training course is to ensure staff and operatives are trained to a high level of competence in the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving & inspecting of mobile access towers. The Photocard ID is approved by the UK Contractors Group and is accepted on sites throughout the UK.
What will I gain from taking this course?
Operatives will have the knowledge of how to safely assemble, relocate, and alter a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others
Instruction both in theory and practical sessions with assessments.
Protective footwear, suitable head protection, suitable clothing and gloves for the practical session.
No formal qualifications or experience necessary, but it would be beneficial if delegates had a basic understanding of work at height issues. All delegates must be physically fit to carry out the practical session.
A photocard will be issued to successful candidates who complete the theory and practical sessions. These are valid for 5 years. All delegates will receive course content & notes booklet and a current Code of Practice booklet will be issued to all delegates who attend the course.
(From 1st January 2022, delegates will no longer receive a printed certificate).
