Here at Browns Ladders, we’re known for our range of Health and Safety training courses, including our wide range of working at height courses. Well, this week, we’re pleased to announce the introduction of three brand new, nationally recognised and accredited working at height courses and Scaffold & Low Level Access training courses – designed to help keep your business even safer!
Ideal for staff and operatives from all workplaces such as construction sites, schools, hospitals, colleges, shops, and industrial units, these new additions to our range of working at height courses can be delivered to up to 12 delegates at once.
Low Level Access Training Course
A brilliant introductory course for any staff for whom low level access is part of the job, our Low Level Access training course is ideal for anyone using low level access technology (2.0 metres or less) such as podium steps, folding towers and low level access towers.
Modules covered on this four-hour (half day) course include:
- Introduction & Housekeeping
- Health & Safety at Work act
- Standards & regulations
- Guidance and Information
- Low Level Equipment options
- Checking components for damage
- Assembly/Dismantling of equipment
- Hazards and Risks
- User Responsibilities
Attendees will learn how to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate low level access units, as well as inspecting them adequately before use.
Scaffold Towers – Standard Course
Another nationally recognised and accredited training course, our Scaffold Towers Standard Course takes just one day, and gives attendees the skills they need in order to safely assemble, relocate, and alter a mobile scaffold access tower without risk of personal injury.
Modules covered include:
- Introduction and housekeeping
- Health & Safety at Work act
- Work at height Regulations
- Accident Awareness & Prevention
- Inspecting Tower Components
- Understanding the instruction manual
- Advanced Guardrail and 3T method
- Assembling, Moving & Dismantling a Tower
- Safe Use of Mobile Access Towers when assembling the tower, during use of the tower, moving the tower & dismantling a tower.
- Stability and ground conditions
- Hazards, risks and overhead obstacles
- Inspection and Labels
- Theory Test (multiple choice)
- Practical Session
- Practical Assessment
Low Level Access & Scaffold Towers – Combined Course
Combining skills and knowledge from our two separate courses, our nationally recognised and accredited Low level Access and Mobile Tower Scaffold combined course can be delivered to up to eight of your staff in just one day, saving you both time and money.

On successful completion of any of our new working at height courses, delegates will receive a Photocard ID and certificate, recognised across the industry and valid for five years.
